The cottage is open plan, very spacious and has a bright, airy Scottish/Scandinavian feel!
Whilst the cottage sleeps 6 comfortably,
it is equally cosy with 4 or 2.
Ground Floor
There is an entrance porch leading to a hall, both with plenty of hanging space. With solid oak flooring throughout, there is a large open-plan kitchen/dining and living area.
The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave and plenty of cooking utensils. In the hallway there is a utilities area with a washing machine.
In the dining area there is a large extendable dining table. This overlooks the French doors which lead onto a large deck with beautiful views to the South West and the Island of Coll. There is a barbeque area on the deck for alfresco eating.
In the living area, there is a cosy Jotul wood-burning stove with comfy seating around. There is also a television and CD and DVD player.
There is a double bedroom on the ground floor and a bathroom with bath, whb and wc, which can be accessed from the bedroom or the hallway.
First Floor
On the first floor there is a large master bedroom with double bed.
There are open views to Calliach Point and the sea beyond.
There is a smaller twin room with views to the West and South.
There is also a shower room, whb and wc.
There is a large landing with day-bed and reading area, beside a bookcase built into the staircase with plenty of reading to choose from!
